The rules for using this website and, once they are on sale, our products. Written to be read.

1. Who we are

This website and the software described on it are provided by the company that operates BaroqTech ("BaroqTech", "we", "us"). By using the website, joining the waiting list or using our software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. What we offer

BaroqTech makes software for people who trade gold on MetaTrader 5: a trading system (an "expert advisor") and a dashboard ("the desk") that reads a MetaTrader account and reports on it. We publish the results of our own tests on this website. We are not a broker, a bank, an investment adviser, a portfolio manager or a fund. We never hold, receive or move your money, and we cannot place or change trades on your account.

3. No investment advice

Nothing on this website or in our software is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. We do not know your finances or your goals. Every decision to trade, and every setting you choose in our software, is yours. Read the risk warning and the disclaimer before you trade.

4. Accounts and the waiting list

Joining the waiting list is free and does not oblige you to buy anything. We will send you one email when the first three months of public results exist, and the waiting-list price shown on the front page will not be higher on the day the product goes on sale. You can leave the list at any time by asking us.

If you are given a login to a dashboard, keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 18 years old, and allowed by the law where you live, to trade leveraged products and to use our trading software.

5. Paid plans

Nothing is sold today. When a paid plan goes on sale, its price, what it includes, how often you are charged and how to cancel will be shown before you pay, and those details form part of these terms. Plans are billed in advance, can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the period already paid. Refunds follow our refund policy. Prices include or add sales tax as the law of your country requires, and the checkout will say which.

6. Using the software

A paid plan gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the software on your own accounts for as long as the plan runs. You are responsible for your computer or server, its internet connection, your MetaTrader installation, your broker account and its settings, and for checking that your broker or prop firm allows automated trading. Run the software on a demo account first and watch it before you let it trade real money.

7. Fair use

Please do not copy, resell, sublicense, decompile or try to break the software or this website; do not use the forms to send advertising, malware or abuse; and do not try to reach parts of the website that are not meant for you. We may refuse or end access for anyone who does.

8. Ownership

The software, this website, its text, design and test results belong to BaroqTech. You may quote our published test results with a link to the page they come from. MetaTrader is a trademark of MetaQuotes Ltd; other names belong to their owners and are used only to describe facts.

9. No guarantee of results

We test carefully and publish what we find, but markets change and software can fail. The software is provided as it is, without any promise that it will make money, suit your purpose, or run without interruption or error. Past results, tested or real, do not predict future results.

10. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or losses caused by your broker, your internet connection, your computer, market gaps or events outside our control. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.

11. Other companies

Your broker, prop firm and MetaTrader are run by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and a mention of a company on this site is not an endorsement by it or of it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If you have a paid plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the place where BaroqTech is registered, without taking away any protection the mandatory consumer law of your own country gives you. Please contact us first if something goes wrong: most problems are solved faster that way.
