What our numbers can and cannot tell you, and what happens if you want your money back.

Not advice

BaroqTech makes software and publishes its own test results. Nothing on this website, in our emails or in our software is a personal recommendation, investment advice, or an offer to manage money. We are not registered as an investment adviser or a broker. If you need advice about your own situation, speak to a licensed adviser.

Tested and simulated results

Most numbers on this website come from tests on past prices or from demo accounts, and are labelled as such. Results from tests on past prices have well-known limits: they are produced with the benefit of hindsight, no real money is at risk, and they cannot fully account for the effect of real trading, such as orders filled late or at worse prices, wider spreads around news, or the pressure of real losses. No claim is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to any shown. There are often large differences between tested results and the results later achieved with real money.

Demo accounts

A demo account trades with practice money. Its prices and fills are usually better than on a real account, and it says nothing certain about real results.

The firms we study

The playbook names well-known funds and researchers because we study what they have published. BaroqTech has no connection with any of them, does not have their strategies, staff or results, and does not suggest that its software will perform like them.

Risk

Trading gold and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money, quickly, including all of it. Only trade money you can afford to lose. Read the full risk warning

Refunds and cancelling

Nothing is sold today, and joining the waiting list is free. When paid plans go on sale, this is how refunds work:

• Cancel any time. A plan can be cancelled from your account or by writing to us. It stops at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
• 14 days on your first payment. If you ask within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, you get that payment back in full. No reason needed.
• If it does not work for you. If the software does not run on a setup that meets the published requirements, and we cannot fix it, we refund the period in which it did not work.
• Trading losses are not refunded. The price of a plan pays for software, not for results. A loss on your trading account, on a test or on a prop firm challenge is not grounds for a refund, and we do not pay challenge fees.
• Your legal rights stay. If the law of your country gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase, or other rights as a consumer, this policy adds to them and never takes them away.

Refunds are paid back to the card or account you paid with, normally within 10 working days of our answer. To ask for one, use the contact form.
